Objective and Rationale - Purpose of the Feedback
This feedback form is designed to collect valuable insights from the faculty members of Mount Mary College regarding the relevance, effectiveness, and areas for improvement in the curriculum prescribed by the affiliating university. The objective is to ensure that the curriculum not only meets academic standards but also remains responsive to the evolving needs of students, industry, and society.

Your responses will play a vital role in shaping internal academic interventions, such as introducing value-added courses, enhancing teaching methodologies, and recommending updates to curriculum development bodies through appropriate channels. The feedback collected will also inform workshops, teaching support initiatives, and interdisciplinary practices that contribute to enriched learning experiences for students.

While the college may not have the authority to revise the core university curriculum directly, it can act proactively to bridge identified gaps by:

* Designing co-curricular and certificate courses aligned with faculty inputs.

* Encouraging pedagogical innovation and blended learning.

* Organizing faculty development programs based on shared challenges.

* Supplementing the curriculum with locally relevant examples and applied learning opportunities.

* Creating actionable recommendations for the Board of Studies (BoS).

We encourage honest and reflective responses to help us take informed decisions for continual improvement in teaching, learning, and curriculum relevance. All responses will be treated with confidentiality and used solely for academic quality enhancement purposes.

Note: All responses will be reviewed by the IQAC and the Academic Core Committee. Where necessary, faculty may be asked to briefly explain their responses. This is to ensure that the feedback reflects genuine engagement and pedagogical insight. Faculty are encouraged to avoid generic or AI-generated responses and instead base their input on actual teaching experience and classroom realities.
